The Polebitski Boys Come to Yellowstone!

After a grueling twenty-some hours on the road the Polo van pulled up to our humble abode with three sleepy boys and one fried Ian on a late Thursday evening (7/19/2012).  Minus Coburn and Mark we had all of the Polebitski boys and Ilija was over the moon to be hanging out with his older cousins.  He really loved the time together.

Uncle Ian knows how to wrangle a toddler. So much fun!

We were so excited that after multiple YNP-trip planning attempts fell through due to timing, summer, money and life.  So when Ian announced that he would take a week off of work to get his three boys out to visit us in Yellowstone and that he would be coming in a week we were more than thrilled.  Austin and I are of the opinion that the National Parks and the youth are our country's real treasures--so we want to mix the two as much as possible.  We spent a wonderful week in Glacier when the boys were younger, but this time they were able to hike on their own and hopefully be able to recall the adventure later on in their lives.

Our daily walk to take Pi to Joffe Lake.

Brothers.  Give your brother a hug.

The weekend was jam-packed with a ton of Yellowstone fun and ended on a more relaxing note for their long trip back to Wisco.
