Our new digs

In addition to the New England bucket list and packing, the wheels are starting to roll in Yellowstone.  These are a few photos of our new pad in Mammoth and the view.  Wow.  Aren't we lucky?!

New England Bucketlist

The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of soaking in new adventures and revisiting old favorites around New England. We visited Acadia for the first time in April with our friends Chris, Kevin, and Jessica. Pirate made the trip too and proved what a good mountain goat he is.

We spent a day last weekend with our good friends Cody and Jessica touring the Holyoke/Easthampton cuisine and recreational spots. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Coco in Easthampton followed by a nice stroll around the water supply reservoirs for Holyoke, finishing with some fine local beers from Papercity Brewing. Monday night we stayed with our friends Brian and Courtney and went to our first ever Red Sox game, Pirate did not make this trip but he seemed happy enough to spend an evening at home. Ilija ate a Fenway Frank, ball park Peanuts, and ice cream out of a Red Sox helmet. The Red Sox bested our old home team, the Seattle Mariners pretty handily. The atmosphere was truly family friendly and Fenway is just such a neat park, kinda a Lambeau Field of baseball.
